COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
En kraftig "Imperial Porter" med kaffetoner och eftersmak av saltlakrits. Inte lika dumdristig som storebror ”Idjit!” men har inga problem med att stå på egna ben!
English Language Label: From the one and only Dugges Ale & Porterbryggeri in Gothenburg, Sweden, an original, robust "Imperial Porter" with notes of coffee and salty liqorice.

Bottle 50cl.
Clear dark brown color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, chocolate, coffee, mocca, dusty, vanilla notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. The flavor is a little sharp and spiky. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (270608)

Draft. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with a lovely coffee note combined with notes of vanilla and dark milk chocolate and light notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with very powerful notes of cocoa beans, dark bitter chocolate, and vanilla, citrus - especially grapefruit, leading to a dry bitter cocoa finish. Nice.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours black and opaque with a creamy, beige head. Distincly burned, coffeeish aroma. Rather solid body with very burned accents, licorice, coffee, tar and a whiff of smoke. A vague acidity probably deriving from the malt - ditto with the heavy bitterness. 160607

From tap at Den tatoverede Enke. Pours dark brown with a little reddish hue and a dense light brown head. Aroma of mild coffee and smooth chocolate. Flavour solid bitter, dry malt, smooth chocolate and a slight fruity to herbal touch into the finish. Ends smooth and nicely bitter.

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2007 Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Transparently black, creamy beige head. Lovely espresso aroma. Potent and sweet with notes of lingonberries, tobacco and licorice. Rather thick and oily with some molasses. Saccharine and resin comes through in the finish making it a bit harsh.

Aroma is really strongly roasted malts, some salted licorace, coffee and a bit of tar. Flavour is salted licorace, roasted malts, coffee and some slight bitterness from hops. UPDATED: DEC 9, 2011 Draught at EBF08. Sweet roasted liquorice aroma. The flavour is roasted, slightly smoky. Black colour. No head. 7 3 7 3 17

Bottle. Tar aroma. Very dark brown colour, red shine, seems clear. The flavour is tarry with hard roasted malts. Some smoke and a good hop/alcohol burn in the finish. Rather acidic, balances off the smoke and sweetness. 7 3 7 3 17
