To celebrate my 1100th rating this month. Dark brown with huge deep beige long lasting head. Sweet aroma with plenty of roasted malt, coffee and dark bitter chocolate. Sweet flavour with burned malt, coffee and liquerice notes. Finished dry and roasted.

50cl bottle @ VinensVerden, Odense. Pours black with a small creamy white head. Nose & taste is of malts mainly - lots of coffee & liquorice. Hops is noticeable giving a fresh & balanced citrus feel to the brew! Very smooth creamy & filling mouthfeel! Good shit!

(500ml bottle, courtesy of blutt59) Pours a mahogany body with a small beige head. Aroma of coffee, subtle anise, caramel, chocolate, light smoke, and roasted malt. Flavor of caramel, chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt with a dry, somewhat bitter finish.

Draught @ Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a longlasting tan head. Roasted malty coffee aroma with some chocolate hints. Roasted malty flavor with lots of coffee and licorice. Also some hints of chocolate in the flavor. Sweet roasted malty coffee and licorice finish with a long bitter aftertaste.

Dark ruby color, small expresso head. Coffee beans in the nose. Very roasted, a bit sweetish, nice perfectly coffeish porter. Extremely drinkable. Long roasted aftertaste with some alcohol. Propably the best beer I’ve had from Dugges and world class porter.

Draught at DTE. Dark, very dark brown (almost black) - light brown head. High burned, roasted, high chokolate, light coffee, berries, high malty, dry bitter burned, flowery hoppy notes, licorice (polet), light medicine. Bitterness. Light sweetness, sift mouthfull. Very nice. Strange style !!

50cl bottle, thanks CaptainCougar. Large tan head that mostly dissipates, dark brown body. Aroma is moderately sweet, milk/bittersweet chocolate, some spice, cookie. Taste is moderately sweet, bittersweet chocolate, earthy/grapefruit, some spice, smoke/roast. Medium body, low carbonation.

On tap at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Served a next to black body under a tan head leaving nice lacings. Coffee, chocolate and roasted malt in the aroma. It is very smooth in the mouth, full-bodied and somehow dryish, even though it is sugary sweet. Coffee, burnt malt, some chocolate and a little hoppy bitterness too. Long coffee-like finish with coffee-like bitterness too. Lovely. (080913)

Tap, thanks to yespr. Pours a deep clear dark brown colour. Sweet aroma of chocolate, coffee and lagered plums. Nice mouthfeel. The flavour is quite sweet with well roasted coffee and chocolate, toffee, plums and roasted malt. Good long lasting sweet and bit dry, roasty coffee and chocolate finish.
