4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 MrWalker (926) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 27, 2006
Keg @ Glenfiddich Warehouse No 69, Stockholm First time served in Stockholm (if you’re not counting the cheating Akkurat bar...) A wonderful brew. Probably the best Swedish brew at the moment. It is dark golden coloured with a rich head. Big flowerful hop aroma. Refreshing taste with a lot of flowery hops and a citrus tange. Very US-style. Don’t change the recepie, please!

Hazy yellow/amber with a creamy white head. Floral aroma with orange, citrus, banana and some bitter hops. Fruity flavor from grapes and oranges, a bit hoppy, maybe some mango and banana in there as well. Somewhat hoppy finish.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 yngwie (9201) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 16, 2005
UPDATED: AUG 27, 2008 Draught at Delirium, Gothenburg. Light golden with white head. Aromas of citrusfruits, spring and hops. Mouthfeel is a litte to watery, but it tastes good, with citric elements. Long, bitter finish. Rating: 7-3-7-3-15-3.5. (051008)
From tank at the brewery. Golden, with a small-bubbled white head. Pine, hops, grapefruit and citrus in general in the aroma and flavor. A bit too thin body, and a nice bitter finish. Nice, but just one in the crowd. Rating: 7-3-7-3-13-3.3. (060825)
Bottle. An almost clear, golden beer with a big off-white head. Lovely tropical fruit aroma with citrus. Low on malt. There’s a touch of citric sourness in the flavor, along with malty sweetness and some pine. Teeth-cleansing hops and a medium to full body. Nice sweetness and tropical fruits in the finish, but the bitterness mellows. A really quaffable and quenching beer. (080731)

Hazy pale yellow with a thick white creamy head. Flowery, hoppy nose. Hoppy flavour as well with some fruityness. Quite bitter in finish. Thick mouthfeel. Not bad at all.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 rickgordon (3764) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 12, 2005
Sampled at the brewery.
Hazy yellow, wonderful appearance. Light citric, very fresh, nose. Smoooth mouthfeel and very light bodied. Citrus/Orange peel notes in flavour. Flowery. Very mild and drinkable. Finishes with a mild, but long bitter finish. Very balanced. This beer is, according to the brewer, an attempt to conquer those who normally drink International Lager. With a name as Avenyn Ale, playing on Gothenburgers patriotic feelings, I’m sure he’ll succeed. No matter what it tastes...
