COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fermented with raspberries.

Dugges Bärliner är en härligt syrlig öl i traditionell nord-tysk stil. Ölet får sin syrlighet från en naturlig jäsning med mjölksyrebakterier. Syrliga veteöl av denna typ var mycket vanliga förr, men har nu främst fäste i Berlin under namnet Berliner Weisse.

Det är vanligt att tillsätta söt fruktsirap vid servering, men vi har valt att behålla det osötat. Dugges Bärliner är istället smaksatt med hallon som fått jäsa med under hela processen. Detta låter ölet behålla sin friska syrliga torrhet, och ger samtidigt en fin färg och arom. Extra läskande tycker vi!

Ingredienser: Kornmalt, vetemalt, jäst, hallon, vatten och syrningskultur.

(bottle) hazy golden-ruby colour with a frothy light-pink head. aroma of tobacco, washing powder, soy sauce, some raspberries and liquorice. flavour is more raspberries and some kiwi skins, slightly tart and lemony, with a hint of banana and yeast. light- to medium-bodied with average carbonation.

330 ml. bottle. Thanks Henrik! Pours a cloudy pale red with a small pinkish head. Aroma of berries and citrus. Taste is raspberries, citrus, and a bit of malt. Somewhat thin, but it is easy to drink. Not too tart.

330ml bottle. Pours a medium pink, with a thin white head. Fruity, citrusy aroma, quite lactic/sour, wheat, faintly phenolic. Dry, light bodied, low bitterness, balanced CO2. Fruity, acidic taste, raspberries, wheat, yeast, sour. Very nice raspberry character, refreshingly sour. (2014-09-14)

Bottle 33cl traded with Nisse666 thanks. An amber red beer with head that goes quickly. Nose is lactic, typical Berliner notes, light red fruit notes. Aroma is on red fruits, very dry and acid, typical yoghurt notes, fresh bread notes at the finish with sour cherries notes, interesting.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2014 Bottle shared during the RBESG 2014 London Grand Tasting - Moncada Brewery. Pours clear gold with a white cream head. Lightly sweet with dry tangy fruits, some melon, grapefruit and tangerine in particular. A bit of citric lemon bite. Light bodied with average carbonation. Well balanced to finish, pretty clean, with further tart, refreshing lemon character. Good. (August 2014, Score: 3.6)

Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014 London Sunday Tasting. Pours clear, light pink-gold with a bubbly white froth head. Tangy raspberry in the nose, pale wheat. Light sweet flavor with mellow tart berries, decent dryness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Mild sweetness at the end with some dried berries, raspberry. Pretty fresh. Nice and drinkable. Bottle at RBESG ’14, day 4 not so grand tasting at Craft Clerko, 10/08/14. Clear light pink with moderate crimson edgework. Nose is tangy strawberry chews, straw, damp grass, light spice, red berry notes. Taste comprises tarte red berry, strawberry sour light, grassy pangs, light acidic vibes. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, red berry zap in the close. Ok ’Linner.
