3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 konstifik (573) - SWEDEN - AUG 4, 2010
Now this is getting close to a ligher double IPA with a rather thick and sticky body, lots of caramel and a big load of hops. The hop aromas give it a very fresh feel, while at the same time, the heavy malts is bordering to cloying, and the mix is, well, not perfected. Still a very nice (D)IPA though.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 NosirIwont (1537) - Aalborg Vestby, DENMARK - MAR 10, 2010
Bottle. 9 days past ‘best before’. Pours a hazy brown with a beige head. Sweet, hoppy aroma with some pine and bread notes. Acidic, bordering vinegar, notes in the background. Flavour is pine hops, but quite sweet. Bitter hop finish. 10-03-10.
4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 Nisse666 (1973) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 5, 2010

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 MesandSim (7108) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2010
A Mes rate. Bottle at home thanks to Jonte. Superb amber red with a very attractive bubbly yet creamy beige head. Good looking beer. Glorious aroma. Big aromatic hoppage and excellent earthy malt jump into the nostrils along with some glorious grass and luscious caramel. The flavour is more of the same but the hops come a little more to the front. Fairly straight down the line but it’s just really smooth and balanced and drinkable. A slight lick of raw alcohol in the finish is the only thing that’s not really doing it for me. But it’s not spoiling it too much. Basically it’s just a very aromatic and smoothly balanced, hop fronted brew that is surprisingly drinkable. Very nice indeed.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 phredrik (707) - Aalborg, DENMARK - FEB 12, 2010
UPDATED: MAY 22, 2010 Lovely aroma, that is very sharp and flowery, very fresh and a bit fruity, lots of hops. Has a lovely colour, and a light head. Great taste with lots of hops, a hint of caramel. The aftertaste reveals the bitterness of the hops. A really great beer for the hop lover.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ratman197 (5536) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - SEP 28, 2009
Bottle shared by 2 Swedish girls I met at the Falling Rock poured a clear reddish amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, graininess, earthiness, light pine and a hint of citrus. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, light pine and light citrus with a smooth lingering moderatly bitter earthy finish.
