jolo (602) - Cape Town, SOUTH AFRICA - MAY 14, 2012
Bottle 50cl. A clear amber colour with a medium high off-white head. An aroma of malt, caramel and hops. The taste is light sweet and light bitter. A medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation and a medium long duration. A great thirst quencher.

50 cl bottle @ Bishops Arms, DK. BBE 12/2011
Aroma is stale and sweet with honey, some hay and grainy malt. Flavour is sweetish with honey, some hops, toffee and hay. Short and straightforward taste like in low alcos usually. Too sweet for a thirst quencher. Then again, the BBE date has gone six months ago.

lusikka (2514) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 13, 2012
500 ml bottle @ Bishops Arms, Copenhagen. BBE 12/2011.
Pours a copper golden colour with a white head. Aroma of birch leaves, grass and some syrupy sweetness. Flavour of grassy hops, syrup, nuts, sweet dried fruits, hay and biscuit. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and a dryish malty finish. Way too British to be a "törstsläckare".

_angst_ (980) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 4, 2012
500 ml bottle bought @ Ica Sannegårdshamnen. Pours slightly cloudy golden with a white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some lacing on the glass. Smell is sweet and fruity with peaches, grapefruit juice, orange zest, grass and hints of bread and caramel. Taste is sweet and bitter with caramel, peaches, pineapple, lemon peal, yeasty bread, pine and grass. Mouthfeel is tiny dry, slightly watery and thin to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, bitter and slightly dry with bread, orange peal and grapefruit juice. Nice for a low alcohol beer.

Bottle, pours hazy yellow with medium white head. Aroma is citrus and hops. Taste is crisp with citrus, hops and some pine. Big bitterness, medium to high carbon. Good for the abv, refreshing.

Ar: Fruity hops, citrus, pine, mango, resin, lemon curd, fruit candy, some bready malts in the background, very pleasant. Ap: Amber colour, medium off-white head, lacing. F: Lots of hops and a big bite, accenuated by the low maltlevel. Fruity, citrus, pine, grapefruit, candy, very short finish. M: a bit watery, but that is hardly surprising. T: This is very impressing and I can imagine me downing several of this during the summer!

Bottle from ICA, Sickla. Clowdy yellow color and lasting white foam. The aroma is light hoppy. Huge hoppy taste with clean finnish and light/medium body. For a low alcohole beer really tasty.

Pale amber colour with a big frothy white head. The aroma isn’t exactly overwhelming but pleasant enough with notes of grapefruit and caramel. Considering the lack of body, which is to be expected from 2.8% ABV, I think they’ve nailed the bitterness level perfectly. It’s distinct but not overpowering. The ultimate marathon session beer. Perfect with some salt and vinegar potato chips.

CapFlu (3798) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 2, 2011
(50cl bottle) Courtesy of Blomster. Pours a light orange gold body. Minor pine hops, extremely bitter and highly carbonated. Light but fairly full flavored considering the ABV. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
