33 cl bottle. Pours dark brown-ish with small head. Aroma is full of roasted malts, some coffee and smoke. Also vanilla, oily phenols and alcohol in taste. A little too thin body for the ABV and complex tastes, and the finish is not only pleasant (a little bit too much lactose and acid). ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Bottle). The aroma is a little tangy and smoky with flavors of sweet roasted malt. Taste of roasted, a little grainy, malt and chocolate. I find it hard to rate this beer because I experience it as both good and a bit boring and distasteful.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown, black with a small, dark-latte colored head. Really just some bubbles. Aroma is a lot of cocoa, medium amount of chocolate and coffee. Some roast and notes of date. Taste is fairly roasted, the cocoa is strong again. Lightly sweet, light liquorice and medium coffee. Salty liquorice grows stronger on the finish. Medium and fairly smooth.

Bottle, bought @ Systembolaget, Hyltebruk. Pours deep black with a small to medium, creamy beige head. Aroma has dark chocolate, coriander, liquorice, raisins and caramel. Low to medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has good dark chocolate, dryish notes of spices and coffee. Mild warming, light cocoa bitterness. Nice.

0.33l bottle. On the pour this is a nice brown looking one and it has a small quickly fading light brownish top. It has a rich and powerful aroma. Lots of cocoa butter and dark roasted chocolate malts. Itís also mildly spiced up with cinnamon and hints of cloves and cardamom. Smells absolutely quite nice. In the taste itís a bit rough and all over the place. Flavorful undoubtedly, but itís just way to rough. It has a oily feeling in the mouth and the carbonation level is about average. Super strong coffee with super strong roasted malts mixes with super strong alcohol. There are some anise spices here also. Fennel and star anise with hints of cinnamon. Think this has great storage potential. Right now, a bit to sharp for my superior taste buds. 30.12.2013

0.33 l bottle, thanks Petteri! Dark reddish brown color. Sweet roasty aroma with coffee, licorice. Sweet very coffeish taste with licorice, dark bread, raisins and some bitter tonic herbs (clove?). Very full body. Fairly complex sipper.

Bottle. A small, light beige head forms over a dark brown body. Lots of roasted malts, coffee and dark chocolate in the aroma. A faint vegetal note too. Itís quite warming on the palate, full-bodied and almost sticky. Roasted malts, chocolate and coffee in the flavor. Some hoppy bitterness and flavor. Lasting roasted finish. Itís certainly good in a way, but then not so good anyway. 140420

Small beige head. Clear deep dark brown body with light carbonation. Roasted rye crisp bread and dark chocolate aroma with nutty spicy notes. Dryish-sweet roasty spicy rye crisp bread taste with earthy dusty notes. Fullish-body. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish roasty soy sauce and lacquer aftertaste with earthy dusty rye crisp bread notes. Lovely. Excellent! Vivid, clear, full of flavour, harmonic, and scarily easy to drink. (0.33l bottle, I forget where from.)
