Cloudy orange with medium head. Mango, pineapple and a lot of other fruits in the aroma. Also in the taste. Rather soft, considering all the hops and high alcohol.

Tap at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is malt spice hop light resin. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a big rich hop resin malt wood alcohol liqourice palate and a long bitter slightly minty finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. As fat as DIPA’s go, it’s pretty damn good. It’s packed with flavour and the alcohol doesn’t dominate.

Tap @ Ørsted Ølbar, Cph. Pours light murky orange with a small, staying, creamy, white film head. Aroma has nice peach, apricot, fat maltiness, oranges. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is elegant, sweet malts, light caramel, peach, resin, grapefruit and apricot. Quite elegant vinious and hops bitter finish. Nice.

On tap at The Bishops Arms, Vasagatan. Pretty clear, golden body with a decent white head. Aroma is malty with citric fruit and slightly spicy, but feels a bit weak. Flavor has mild, smooth malt, fruity citric hops, moderate in bitterness and some Belgium inspired spicy yeast. Fine balanced body and good malty aftertaste with some bitterness. Nice to drink, rather malty driven beer, well hidden alcohol but I have really problems to see this as a double IPA. Maybe served a bit old?

Ret simpel.
