(Bottle) Reddish brown colour with lasting, creamy, beige head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with crisp-bread, treacle toffee, orange peel and dried apricots. Malty, fruity taste with notes of brown bread, toffee, caramel, brown sugar, orange peel, dried apricots, hints of prunes and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a light sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Quite nice.

Bottle @ home. Aged 1 year. Clear brown color with a large tan head, good retention. Sweet, caramel infused aroma with malty and light roasted notes, toffee, red fruits, burnt sugar, nuts, grains, spices. Smooth mouth feel, oily and sopy texture but yet quite high carbonation. Sweet taste with notes of caramel, toast, red fruits, spices, chocolate. Lingering caramel, scorched sugar and pine. Moderate spicy bitterness. Very nice for a style I usually don’t enjoy very much. Happy Easter!
