330ml bottle from Cunningham. Huge thanx for that one!!!
Pours reddish amber colored with small creamy head. Smell is malty-caramelly, fruity, slight chocolatey. Starts with great hop flavor, fruity, with some citrus and pine woods. The middle part has lots of dark malts, dark fruits and fruity-citrussy hops. Goes into a hoppy-fruity, citrussy and malty-roasty finish! Really great one!

Bottle: Clear cobbery/red colour, with a nice creamy head. Aroma of caramelly, and sweet maltynes, citrus, and fruits. Flavor had a sweet, caramelly mouthfeeling, some grassy and fruit, nice dry bitter medium long finish. Thin body. Nice Bitter in this alcy level!!

ElDesmadre (1923) - Mikołów, POLAND - JAN 10, 2013
Bottle traded with Cunningham. Aroma is rather sweet - berries, root spices, caramelly malt and toffee. Very dry taste, The hollow, carmalley malty body (or rather its remains) is dominated by a spicy profile that still is not intense at all. The finish is light to medium bitter and the buttery notes semm a bit out of place. Disappointing - the lack of a stronger maltiness is not compensated by anything.

Svag beska i eftersmaken.

Smells pretty much, tastes not as much but is good in taste. The aftertaste remains for a long time. Hard to say anything about this beer. I thought it was okay to drink. But no beer I would buy again though.

rarbring (1688) - Linköping, SWEDEN - FEB 19, 2013
Aroma: Smelling of bread, apple, nettles and hay.
Appearance: A clear chestnut colored beer. A tan head with small lacing and some curtains.
Taste: Tasting brown bread, ripe apples, bitter orange marmalade and lemon peel.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a soft texture. A medium body with a somewhat dry finish.
Overall: A good but not extraordinary bitter. I would have preferred a notch less hops.
Note: Bottle 330 ml. Reviewed 2013-02-19.

Bottle, quick rating. Amber, off-white head. Bready and buttery malt, floral and fruity hops, light spices. Not one of my favourite Christmas beers this season.

Bottled. Pours cloudy brown with a small brown head. Smells ginger, abit roasted. Tastes woody, dry bitter, abit sweet with a similar finish.

Ja, den är ju inte speciellt alkoholkraftig vilket ger ölen ett lätt blaskigt intryck. Smaken är väldigt humlig med kraftiga tall-inslag och en hyfsad beska. Slutsats: jovars!
