Draft. A deep red beer with a collapsing brown head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of chocolate, but also hints of butter. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of chocolate and cocoa, but also with a light note of butter, leading to a very bitter and dry cocoa finish.

From tap at Den tatoverede Enke. Pours dark, hazy brown with a reddish hue. Head is creamy and mild chocolate brown. Roasted malt and chocolate malt aroma, mildly sweet. Creamy mouthfeel. Flavour starts sweet with notes of caramel and chocolate, some toffee. Quite flavourful. There is a mild liqourice edge towards the finish. Finish holds a mild berry note in a bed of malt flavours and some fruity bitterness lingering into the finish. Nice.

Draught at Den Tatoverede Enke
Beautiful red-brown color; creamy head. Powerful aroma of very dark chocolate and roasted malt; some ashes and dust too. The body is well round, well malty, with caramel flavor, then developing into some more powerful chocolate and dry cocoa brew, as the bitterness is rising. Surprisingly there is even a hidden flowery touch. The bitterness is high, mostly coffee and roasted malts; there is a liquorice touch too in the end. Very good.

Draft. Pours a hazy dark brown colour with a medium nice creamy light brown head. Good lacing. Aroma of bitter chocolate, roasted malt and caramel with a slight smoky touch. Quite good mouthfeel. The flavour has lots of bitter chocolate, good roasted malt, roasted caramel, some coffee, hops and slight metal. Bitter roasty finish.

Tap @ Den Tatoverede Enke, Cph. [enjoyed with faroeviking]
Pours a clear deep red-brown with a fantastic mwsium creamy yellowish-beige head. There is super lacing. Aroma has powerful citric hops, nuts, and deep caramel mixed with sweet milk chocolate. Super creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly nutty at first, then caramel takes over before chocolate en masse and lots and lots of sharpish hops. I truly enjoyed this - even without the chocolate on the side.
