COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Draught @ BAJT on January 28. Pours dark copper brown with a big off-white head that clings to the glass and leaves lots of trace while dissipating. Smell is fresh and hoppy with citrus fruits, lemon zest and caramel. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly malty and bitter with lemon juice, wood and hints of coffee. On tap. It’s a clear, dark brown beer with a small, beige head. Slightly roasted nose with a little licorice and nice hops. Hoppy, slightly chocolaty flavor, roasted and citrusy with hints of licorice. Full-bodied and sweet. Long hopped finish with a nice bitterness. A rather lovely brown ale, not to big, and quite tasteful. (090529)

Tap @ the brewery. The name says it all. Brownish ale with a lasting white. Just a bit of roasted & caramel in the nose, with a disturbing green note, as well as a yeasty one. The same for the flavour.
