Hasselnötsbrun öl med ett smutsvitt skum. Mycket malt och en del karamell och smörkola i doften. Detta går igen i smaken. Ganska söt öl som avslutas av en distinkt nötig beska.

Lovey clear bronze/copper with a three finger beige head dissipating quickly, leaving some lacings. Adorable to look at. Aroma is nuts, some flowers, butter, some mild hay/grains. Taste is carefully bitter with a malty backbone, fresh flowery, round hops up-front. Ends slightly bitter. Medium body, medium carbo. Beautifully balanced in all its simplicity.

@ Havregatan 150326. Bottle (330 ml) from Systembolaget. Malty and caramely with dried fruits and nutty notes, sweet, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is bitter, sweet and malty with caramely notes.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pour reddish-copper with nice head that settles into a thin veil over the beer. Completely clear, it’s a beautiful beer to look at. The aroma is spicy and peppery, with some fruity scents - it very much resembles Fuller’s beers, like London Pride, and I suspect Dugge’s have been using their yeast for this beer. The taste continues the spicy theme, also reminding of Fuller’s, but the hop bitterness pushes through and leaves a dry bitter aftertaste, which I think pulls down the grade. The condition of the beer is lively and mouthfeel is medium. Overall, a very nice beer and not at all watery considering the low alcohol level, but the bitterness is too intrusive and the beer would be more tasty if it left more malt sweetness and caramel behind in the aftertaste.

(Bottle). Subdued but pleasant aroma of roasted malt and dried fruit. The flavor is balanced with a nice dryness and flavors of roasted malt and fruit. Nice dry and soft bitterness in the finish that however is a bit watery.
