Bottle at Bruce’s, London. One of my additions. Pours clear, light red-brown with a lasting, frothy tan head. Dry toasty bread and leaves in the nose. Light sweet flavor, dry bread, leafy bitterness, some dirt. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dirty earthy bitterness to finish, toasty bread, leaves, very subtle hints of cocoa. Pretty solid bitter.

rarbring (1556) - Linköping, SWEDEN - MAR 17, 2013
Aroma: Smelling of weakly of bread, pine, dust and hay.
Appearance: A clear chestnut colored beer. A low tan head with some lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting brown bread, citric notes, some resin and white grape-fruit peel.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a coarse texture. A medium body with a long dry finish.
Overall: Solid, rather hoppy for a bitter, and a bit coarse. But in all well done.
Note: Bottle 500 ml. Reviewed 2013-03-17.

Lilja (1783) - Malmö, SWEDEN - APR 1, 2013
Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, bröd, blommig men toner av apelsin och choklad. Lagom söt med en beska som bryter av blommigheten. En bra bitter.
