Bottle at Bruce’s, London. One of my additions. Pours clear, light red-brown with a lasting, frothy tan head. Dry toasty bread and leaves in the nose. Light sweet flavor, dry bread, leafy bitterness, some dirt. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dirty earthy bitterness to finish, toasty bread, leaves, very subtle hints of cocoa. Pretty solid bitter.

Flaske 330ml fra Systembolaget Østersund. Drukket i Skibotn 27 Jul 15. Mørk gyldenbrun. Middels høyt skum som daler sakte. Forsiktig malt-/fruktaroma. Smaken balansert. Mest malt men også spor av søt frukt. Tørr ettersmak.

330ml brown bottle poured into a snifter glass. Appearance is clear copper colored with a medium sized tan head, that when reduced left a little lacing. Aroma is faint of caramel. Flavours of caramel, bread and a hint of orange peels. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light bodied, watery texture and average carbonation. Dugges Golgata Bitter is okay, it has a unsatisfying faint aroma, and the body is too light.

Appearance; off white head, clear amber red body and no lacing. Aroma; toffee, malts, honey, grassy hops. Taste; bread, malts, honey, toffee, crispy hops, crowberries and notes of peat. Ok carbonation, some dry sides, alright body as 4%-bitter. Finishes in a juicy style, berries and some peels. [33cl btl 4% BB2016-02-25 T434 B@Systembolaget]
