3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Lovely clear red brown liquid, lacks a head... Caramel, bread, simple cittic hops, some pineapple... Great bitter sweet taste, good medium body, low on carbs, malty caramel finish...

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Flaska från SB.
Grumlig mörk bärnsten med noll skum i princip.
Doftar ok av malt och humle, något fruktigt.
Smaken är inget att skriva hem till morsan om dock. Söt och tråkig. Ingen rolig beska heller.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Floral hops, yellow fruit, light cheesy yeast. Soft sweet taste with modern but only moderate hop bitterness. Soft ending, foamy carbonation. I wasn’t too impressed overall. It’s a simple style but especially for the abv I expected a richer taste. I would like a more crisp carbonation. (33cl bottle from De Hopduvel)

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled 330ml. -Unclear amber coloured, small off-white head, quite strong dry caramel nose. Sweet malty, dry caramel and nutty with notes of hops and fruits. Again quite dry finish. One-dimensional and average.

Specific smell quite difficult to identify (for me..). Kind of dark colour with, very CO2 ish head that disappears quickly. Taste like it smells - light bitter taste. Medium sticky palate. Overall OK but not of my favourites.

This beer is way under-rated, one of my favourite incarnations of a (ES)bitter.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Just too much yellowish head for a true B.C."H." Veiled amber beer. Fruity, faintly spicy hops, caramel, cookies, rainwater; inconcspicuous. BItter-hoppy, but with quite some caramel behind it. Hint at diacetyl. Vegetable bitterness taking over, but always mild. Well-carbonated, light body, refreshing until the aftertaste, where there is a flavour of hazelnuts. Good imitation of a British "ESB", down to the diacetyl. The originals will win hands down on cask, of course.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. 33 cl full sample. The aroma is floral, has caramel maltiness, some toasty tones, light citric. Clear, red-brown coloured (amber if you wish) with an off-white lasting head. The taste is caramelly sweet, light bitter and has a nice floral-citric hoppiness to it. Medium carbobated. relative easy drinking considering the malty sweetness. Found it to be a pleasant one.
