3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330 ml bottle from Systembolaget, shared. Dark ruby color with a big, frothy beige head.. A candy style fruitiness in the aroma, toffee malts and notes of floral hops. Taste is sweet, fruity, has bubblegum notes and is malty with lots of citrus. Oily mouthfeel. Fruity-bitter medium length finish. Good.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Längst fram är beskan, imunnenfallande, närmast exhibionistisk i sin iver att fläka ut sig och vara brännpunkten för alla sinnesrörelser. Allt det andra - nyanserna till exempel - anas mest som små krusningar i kulissen.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl bottle from Systembolaget. Best before 2012-06-11. It poured a golden colour with a massive head and lots of carbonation. Hops is the first thing that springs to mind about the aroma. On subsequent sniffs nuts, malts and some caramel reveals themselves as well. Flavour is typical of an ESB. Nuts, caramel and toffee. A tad oily. No hops at first, but they take some time to show up, but when they do they linger for a ling time. Matching bitterness that isn’t too dominant. Medium long aftertaste.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a dark orange/copper color with a small off white head. Aroma is of caramel, toffee, buttery notes, red berries, marmalade and subtle citrus and grapefruit from the hops. The flavor follows the nose with an even lesser presence of the American hops used, I get subtle citrus with the bitterness along with the caramel and toffee notes, lightly toasted malt and marmalade. The body is medium with a dry mouthfeel and almost no carbonation. A solid ESB, but I would have wanted more American hop flavor when its stated that they are used.
