En "India Pale Ale" med vänlig bitterhet och mängder av humlearom. Kryddad med fem amerikanska humlesorter med hög alfasyra. Det växer citrus i tallskogen...

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2008 On draught at Haket, Göteborg. Dark amber colour, average head, very creamy. Intense hoparoma from strawberry jam and pine. Chewy, big flavour with notes of strawberry jam and juniper. Bit of chocolate as well. Dry, puckering bitterness. High alpha hop monster, very agressive but tasty.

On draught at The Rover, Göteborg. Dark amber colour. Steady head. Aroma from exotic fruits along with a slight piney touch. Very fresh nose here with low levels of caramel. Flavour is superb - here are generous amounts of hops that gives a wonderful profile from resin, chocolate, mandarine, grass and such. Interesting how the hops can dominate over malt character at this high abv-level. Incredibly tasty beer!

Draught at Bishops Arms, Göteborg. Dark amber, very lightly hazy, minimal head. Rich grapefruit aroma. Sweet with clean, bold mouthfeel. Lots of crystal malt and American hops. Very bitter finish. A typical Dugges beer, typical American in style from it’s clean mouthfeel to it’s rich juicy hoppiness.
Earlier Rating: 4/10/2007 Total Score: 4.2
Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm. Clear copper colour, rich firm head. Powerful hop aroma of lychee and mango. Sweet with notes of malt, black cherries and tangerine. Wave after wave of aromatic hops roll in on top of a straigh forward American style malt character. Really bitter, and it lingers, but doesn’t go overboard. Yeah!

Draught at Bishops Arms, V:a Hamngatan, gothenburg. Amber with a firm head. Really hoppy in both aroma and flavour. Citric fruitiness; grapefruit orange and pine. Oh yes, it’s an IPA! Extremely hoppy, but also balanced in a nice way.

Draught at Bishops Arms Västra Hamngatan, Göteborg.
Shady brown color, fluffy tan head. Fresh citrus hoppy scent. Fresh citrus hoppy taste. Smooth mouthfeel, big bitterness. The "provbryggd" version of High Five was bigger and for my taste better. This one is still great though!

Draught at Bishops Arms, Västra Hamngatan, Göteborg.
Shady brown color, tan head. Extremely nice pine and spruce, green hops, grape and other citrus fruits scent, very nice of you like American hops like me. Very nice high bitterness with fruity hoppy green taste, spruce and pine again, very nice indeed! Smooth mouthfeel.

Draught at 3 Små Rum, Göteborg. On May 13, 2009.
Clear copper to light brown color, tan head. Hoppy and caramel scent. Nice fruity hoppy taste. Smooth mouthfeel, high bitterness.<br<8/4/8/4/16=4.0

From the new brewery batch.
Draught at Ölstugan Tullen, Göteborg, on August 10, 2012
Clear copper color, small white head. Hoppy, citrus, fresh, a bit sweet and malty, some caramel, grapefruit lingering bitter aftertaste with some tart white fuzzy citrus skin (pith) too. Medium to full mouthfeel. Medium to medium high bitterness, though the lingering bitterness in the aftertaste comes through more. Citrus hoppy, also malty sweet and caramel scent.
It was hard scent wise, since a lot of people were eating fish with squeezed fresh lemon on top very close to me, so I’m a bit reserved on that score.
Taste is very nice!

Draught at 3 Små Rum, Göteborg, on Feb 15, 2014.
So it is back! After some versions (filter etc) that didn’t deliver on the hops, now they’ve sorted it out again! Very nice hoppy, tropical fruits scent and taste. To the sweet and caramel malty side more than bitter. For my taste very well balanced and very tasty!

Marsiblursi (3021) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 17, 2007
(Draught) Pours hazy amber. Laid back green hops in the aroma with fruity tones of apricot, oranges/tangerines, lychee and grapefruit. Some honey melon. Also some notes of pine and flowers. A bit sweet with a caramelly background. Lots of hops in the flavour with a rather friendly bitterness and a caramelly backbone. Fruity with some jam like tones and some spicy hops. Some piny and floral notes in the afterbitterness. Light dry finish. Rather soft but a bit sticky mouthfeel. Medium body. A nice and very US like IPA but with the typical Dugge features: easy, friendly bitter-hop profile and an aggressive flavour and aroma-hop profile.
Earlier Rating: 3/24/2007 Total Score: 4.1
(Draught) Pours light hazy, light blood red with copper-ish hints. Full aroma of green, spicy hops with tones of flowers, fruits, apricot, grapefruit, blood oranges, pine and lychee with a caramelly backdrop to back it up. A lot of green hops and caramel in the flavour as well with tones of flowers, grapefruit, pine, lychee, apricot and blood oranges. Not extravagant bitter, just tons of aroma (dry) hops. Caramel and hops ligers in the aftertaste. Medium dry, medium body. Massive hop bomb with “lagom” bitterness.
