COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Draught at Bishops Arms Mollbergs, Helsingborg. August 2011.
A pretty generic attempt on an American IPA. I does succeed in the hop character. I get the citrus notes, some pine and also blackberries but it’s not that fresh and appealing. The taste and body is decent but nothing out of the ordinary. Next time I’ll go for something else..

Bottle from trade with Tkrjukoff, @ home shared with Joes and DutchDrebus. Slightly hazy orange, almost no head. Smell hops, banana and sweet. Taste sweet lightly bitter, lightly hoppy and banana. Decent carbo and body.

Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours an unclear and amber beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt and hops with citrus and grass. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is dry with bitterness. Overall a good beer.

Sampler at CBF 2011-06-28. From bottle. Clear golden with a beige, creamy head leaving good lacing. American hops aromatic characteristics like apricot and citrus along with some malts. Sweet and bitter flavors. Medium to full body. Juicy with a dry, bitter finish with malts still present.

Gelungenes IPA! Test vom 1.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,11,11,12,8,11 - 10,60

bottle from kihoskh. hazy orange, smooth large offwhite head. sweet aroma, flowers, candy, bubblegum, exotic fruits. sweet malts. complex hops aroma with many different aroma notes. flavor is sweet flowery, bubblegum, grapefruit and fruit peel bitterness, very sweet hoppy, also very bitter hoppy, gets a bit cloying, sweet malty note too. A very different IPA with loads of bitterness, that is balanced more by bubblegum and sweet flowery notes than the usual grapefruit, pine and perhaps exotic fruits. Personally i find it too sweet, nothing that elegantly matches the high bitterness.
