Bottle. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus and sweet malt aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy complex bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. This beer exceeded my expectations.

Hazy amber colour with a good beige head. Big cheesy hop aroma giving some good tangerine notes with some nice sweet yeast and chunky malt in the background. The flavour is similar with some lovely biscuity notes and an assertive bitterness. Slight ethanol and rubber but in a good way. Faint hit of soap too but again it’s strangely appealing. Long, lonnnnnng finish with loads of bittering hops and a lingering citric aftertaste. Lovely stuff.

Der amrikanische Hopfen ist schon im Geruch dominierend, insgesamt wurden 5 verschiedene Hopfensorten benutzt.
Bedeckt hopfiger Antrunk, milder als gedacht. Zwar ist das Bier stark hopfenlastig, zumindest untertönig ist aber auch eine deutliche Malznote offensichtlich. Der Hopfen ist aromatisch, wirkt aber im vorderen Mittelteil manchmal etwas schlaff und kann sich erst im weiteren Verlauf behaupten. Dabei scheinen die verschiedenen Hopfensorten mit ihren Eigenschaften gut zueinander zu passen, sie ergänzen sich, sind aber trotzdem zum Teil unterscheidbar. Im Abgang malziger, der Hopfen agiert typischer und lässt das Bier äußerst frisch wirken. Gelungenes IPA!

bottle at KØ-2011. Deep golden colour with beige head. Aroma is hop, malt, pine. Flavour is hop, malt, pine, citrus, caramel. OK/Nice beer.

Bottle. Hazy amber pour with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, caramel, with some floralness. Tastes of citrus, floral, toasted caramel, and lighter pine.

bottle. A deep amber beer with a big beige head. The aroma and taste is of caramel, hops/Light stable/citrus/pine. Medium body with a bitter dry finish.

Clear amber pour completed by a light off-white head. A floral and herbal combination of hop aromas is supported by a toasty and bready malt foundation. While it grows a certain bitterness, it remains even maltier. Not as crisp nor aromatic as the excellent Dugges Holy Cow. It seems oilier, more hesitant and less bright despite being more piney and bitter. Still quality stuff though.

Draught. White medium high but lasting head. Beautiful clear dark brown body. Aroma, well you are not in doubt about the hops. Flavor of spicy hops with just the right amount of alcohol.

(RBESG 2007, Glasgow. Bottle) Golden color, small head. Really hoppy aroma, oranges, citrus, apples and with grassy notes. Hoppy, grassy flavor, lots of hops, metallic notes, grapfruit. Rather dry.

Amber color, rich head. Hoppy, citric aroma, greapfruit notes and some sweeter fruits. Very hoppy, bitter flavor, citric and with some fruits. The bitterness follows you al lthe way to the finish.

Bottle at Paradiso Dupont. Hazy amber color. Aroma of tall wet grass. Taste is citrus and malt. Great mouthfeel. Decent.
