COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

27-MAY-2011, bottle @Copenhagen BeerFestival 2011. Amber and quite dark for an IPA. Beige head. Maltier and sweeter than the High Five I just had. I prefer the fresher and more bitter High Five. This is a tad too sweet , but still OK.

On draft at Glenfiddich Warehouse, Stockhom. Pours clear amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and citrus. Flavor also malty without too much hops and bitterness. Would have preferred more bitterness in an IPA (Rate offline 2011/04/19)

hazy red-amber, smooth yellow head. Pretty damn dark for an IPA. very fruity aroma, also loads of flowery hops, and some bitter hops. reminds me of other scandinavian ipa’s, it is not entirely like an american ipa. Also sweet malts and syrup or honey in the aroma. flavor is caramelly, honey, malty, flowery, bitter hoppy (herbal bitterness). A bit messy and lots of strange flavors, but pretty strong and in-your-face. Definetly better tastng than if it was just boring. Still can’t help thinking that something’s wrong with it. The caramelly and fruity notes are strong in this one, master yoda.

Pours clear dark amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, oranges and citrus fruits. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a bitter fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Fine IPA but was somewhat malty and the hops subsided somewhat, perhaps because it was drunk just before it expiry.

Bottle from Systembolaget, Mølndal. Pours deep amber with a nice 2 inch creamy light tanned head. Good malty toffee aroma mixed with citrusy hops. Taste is more of the good grainy malt, and lots of nice citrusy hops. Well balanced beer with a long malty finish.

Draught at The Rover, Göteborg. Poured a dark red/amber/brown body with a big off white head that went away slowly. Soft maltiness vs. herbal aromatic hops, slightly acidic in the nose. Same in the taste, only with more grain, some bubblegum and a light hoppy bitterness.
