3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 humlelala (302) - DENMARK - JAN 20, 2012
(50 cl bottle from Bunker Beer; BBD: February 2012) Pours a clear copper with rich white head. Good lace and retention. Aroma is somewhat dark spruce and malt. Oily texture, medium carbonation, full-bodied with a long and lightly bitter finish. Taste is malty sweet at first followed by a subdued bitterness. I’d be more inclined to call this an amber ale than an IPA but perhaps it tastes different when fresh.

På flaske fra systembolaget - tykk uklar kropp som det dufter mye av - massevis av humle i aromaen - veldig besk med en underlig ettersmak - litt whisky smak? - ikke så veldig godt gjemt alkohol smak

Thanks benzai for sharing this one.
Amberish colour. Smells honey, bit sweet. Tastes bitter, hoppy, and citrussy - but not enough for me. Okay carbo, sticky.
