COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle 50cl.
Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, keller bier alike, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, drain alike, US hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (140608)

An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel and a flowery dusty hop note. The flavor is very sweet with lots of caramel, which makes the mouthfeel a bit sticky, combined with alcohol lurching in the back ground. The hops notes are flowery - with a touch of lime - a combination of English and American hops? The body is thick. My first guess would not be an IPA, rather a English Strong Ale.

(On tap) Beautiful, clear, dark amber with a small, off-white head. Very fat hop aroma. Medium body with rich, caramelish notes and then an extremeky fresh, citrusy hopping that leaves a solid but not overpowering bitterness. Doesn’t really appear to be 7.5% 240806

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy hazzlenut brown with a slowly collapsing light tan head. Grapefruity and dense caramel malt aroma. Flavour is solid hoppy with a mild apple fruitiness and a solid caramel malt base. Holds a distinct oily grapefruity flavour too. Finish is light fruity and medium solid bitter. Ends medium dry.

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2006 [Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm] Hazy brownish amber, firm head. Concentrated hay aroma of English hops with some orange thrown in. Dryish with clean mouthfel. Solidly malty. Roasty with notes of chocolate and rather intense hop presence. Salty finish with long bitterness. Well balanced - far from the American hop monsters, and possibly more of a good, overhopped English strong ale.

Bottle, KØ11. Cloudy amber/brown colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is a little spicy, perhaps from the hops. Some nice maltiness, a little spicy also, like some rye beers.
