3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jesperhammer (1527) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 31, 2011
27-MAY-2011, bottle @Copenhagen BeerFestival 2011.
Amber and quite dark for an IPA. Beige head.
Maltier and sweeter than the High Five I just had.
I prefer the fresher and more bitter High Five. This is a tad too sweet , but still OK.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 AlbertC (264) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 2, 2010
Aroma is obviously hoppy with some grass and citrus. Taste is a bit malty but generally not a very big beer. Apperance and palate keeps the numbers up.

Draught at the brewery (from the tank!). Nice floral hop aroma. Palate is quite citric, with some floral notes. Some light touches of caramelly malt, with some lightly bitter hops again in the finish. Quite fresh tasting.

Brown color, nice creamy tan head. Honeyish flowery hoppy aroma. Sweetish, even toffeish flavor, Also flowery hoppy. Aftertaste is hoppy. Someway sweet and average bodied for IPA.
Second try @brewery, directly from tank. Not sweet like in the Rover.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Marko (3115) - Split, CROATIA - SEP 26, 2010
Draught at The Rover, Göteborg. Poured a dark red/amber/brown body with a big off white head that went away slowly. Soft maltiness vs. herbal aromatic hops, slightly acidic in the nose. Same in the taste, only with more grain, some bubblegum and a light hoppy bitterness.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Maria (8582) - Thisted, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2008
It’s slightly hazy, red copper and the head is huge, creamy and lasting. The aroma has notes of malt, fruity hops, citrus and a light milky sourness. The flavour also has a hint of sour milk, notes of fruit, citrus (mostly grapefruit) and very little malt. I miss some caramel and more malt, and I wonder if it’s supposed to have this slightly tart, milky sourness?
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Pinball (8607) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 3, 2011
hazy red-amber, smooth yellow head. Pretty damn dark for an IPA.
very fruity aroma, also loads of flowery hops, and some bitter hops. reminds me of other scandinavian ipa’s, it is not entirely like an american ipa. Also sweet malts and syrup or honey in the aroma.
flavor is caramelly, honey, malty, flowery, bitter hoppy (herbal bitterness). A bit messy and lots of strange flavors, but pretty strong and in-your-face. Definetly better tastng than if it was just boring. Still can’t help thinking that something’s wrong with it. The caramelly and fruity notes are strong in this one, master yoda.
