Höst. Klara dagar med en frisk kyla i luften. Tid för reflektion - och tid att njuta en god och välbalanserad höst-ale i brittisk stil. Mogen och fyllig med mylla i doften och en eftertänksam beska står den sig fint mot höstens bord med vilt, svamp, rotfrukter och den söta rönnbärsgelén. Eller också, utan krusiduller, i ett skummande glas under den höga himlen. Lugnet infinner sig!

Mörkt mahognyfärgad öl med beige livligt skum. Doft av söt mal och mörkt bröd. Lätt rostad smak, brödig och nötig. Passade utmärkt till grillat kött och rostade grönsaker.

Bottle @ Rene’s house, courtesy of Timo, I believe. Hazy orangish brown appearance with a very foamy, light brown head. Nutty, tangy, dark fruity, woody, mildly infected aroma. Tangy, dark fruity, nutty, earthy, woody flavor. Unfortunately infected like some of the other Dugges that I had.

Pours dark red color with minimal head. Aroma of dark berries, bilberries, goose berry bush, mild ripe fruits and some malts. Flavor of juicy berries, some mild caramelly malts and fruity notes. A bit watery and juicy palate, lots of berries and nothing else.

Pours brown with a small white head. Mild aroma of berries and roasted malts. Taste has notes of roasted malts, hints of chocolate and berries. Finish is slightly bready and malty with hints of roastiness. A bit light bodied and mild taste. Slightly unbalanced.

33cl bottle from trade with Fonefan, shared @ tasting with Joes and Dutchdrebus. Dark amber color, smaal beige head. Smell malts, lightly wort. Taste malts, slightly sweetish, lightly bitter. Easy to drink. Low to medium carbonation and body.
