UPDATED: JUN 25, 2007 Draught (Pikkulintu, Helsinki, Svenska Dagar 2006). Very bitter aroma, and taste fills the mouth and lasts a long time. Ginger prominent. Good for any time of year.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2007 Draught at SBWF 06 as Höstbryg. I wonder if this is the one. The aroma and flavour are sour, but OK balanced out by some malt.

On tap at Bishops Arms in Malmö. Pleasant stout with all the standard stout flavours present to some degree. Quite dry and bitter - drink one and you want another....

Draught @ Bishop’s Arms, Malmö. Pours a black colour with a tan head. Roasted malty coffee aroma, with some hoppy hints. Sweet roasted malty flavor with hints of coffee, chocolate and hops. Dry roasted malty finish with some bitterness.

[Sampled at SBF, 2006] Pitch black. Bubbly, beige head. Milky chocolate in the aroma. Salty with chocolate in the flavour. Distinct bitterness.

Draught at Bishop’s Arms
Black color; creamy head. Nice and delicate aroma of roasted malt, with Digestive cookies and light hops. Medium-light body, the flavor is basically from the roasted malt, with a touch of acidity deriving. The final is bitter with too much burnt sugar. Not bad, but too monodimensional for me.

Draught @ Svenska Dagar, Pikkulintu, Finland. Very sweet aroma of dough and dark... yeast? Almost completely black colour, thick head. Bitter taste of grape fruit. Medium-length finish.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Beautiful dark colour. Good steady light brown head. Smells lovely. Fresh hoppy. Dry-ish flavour, with a pleasant edgy finish. Coffee. Some bitterness, and very balanced.A good, flavourful stout.
