Thanks to Alex for this bottle... Dark brown beer, light tan head... Really nice and strong nose, smells barrel aged, wish I knew if it was, deep chocolate with scotch...the taste is a bit too charred with scotch, but has a wonderful finish... sum is greater than its parts

250ml bottle. Pours pitch black, with an almost dark brown head. Very rich, complex aromas. Heavy toast, cocoa powder, coconut, coffee beans, dark chocolate, licorice, tar, asphalt, ripe plums, hops, raisins, tobacco. Sweet, full bodied, thick, medium bitterness, balanced CO2. VERY rich taste, nice complexity. Heavily toasted malts, dark chocolate, espresso coffee, coconut, candied sugar, licorice, hops, plums, raisins, treacle, tar, earth. This is as subtle as a punch in the face, but a very nice punch that is, indeed! An excellent piece of brewing now, will probably develop fabolously with time. Bonus points for the small bottle size. Black color; beige head, creamy. The aroma shows at first burnt malts, burnt bread; later the aroma becomes more interesting, more refined, with some alcohol too. Good body structure, and smooth mouthfeel; good mix of dark chocolate and roasted malts, strong tar impression, very light vanilla and liquorice; correct bitterness; the final doesn’t exceed in the roastiness, while the alcohol is maybe too much evident. A very good one.

0,25 l bottle as a gift, thanks Rickgordon!
Poured black as midnight, small creamy and stable beige head. Strong aroma with cocoa, deep roasted grains, soja and leather, some vanilla and molasses. Oily texture, thick body, powerful flavor profile that numbling my palate. Huge ammount of roasted grains, soja again, tobacco and cocoa, dried dark fruits. Dry finish, well hidden alcohol.

Bottle at DLD. Sorry I don’t remember who you were but a thousand thanks! I actually preferred the regular Idjit! to the Perfect, go figure. Pours a deep brown-black with a tan head. Nose has a certain abbey type quality that I can only equate to a lot of European Imperial Stouts. Much more fruity than the American styles. Light coffee and mulberry notes with some leather and licorice. The carbonation was good by the time I had this, but I could see it supporting a high CO2 level. On taste, I really appreciate the leather and berry notes. Feels very rounded and tasty. Pretty solid Imperial Stout, much in line with de Molen or Nogne O.

courtesy of Per - dark black coloured with a poor head retention; aroma of cold coffee, licorice and black cherries; fairly roasted; very tasty and full-bodied, a solid sweetness and a strong bitterness on top of it; quite high carbonation, light residual sugars and a very long roasted coffeish and black chocolatey aftertaste - beautiful

25cL bottle, courtesy of blomster. Thanks, Christer! Pours a deep, dark oily-brown color; thin, mixed-bubbled light tan head with light retention and lacing. Layers of milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and light roast in the aroma; nice nuttiness with a slight show of alcohol; dense and endearing. Medium-full body; relaxed carbonation; well-integrated alcohol. Loads of nutty, oily milk and dark chocolate, and some roasted malts; nicely dense, oily, viscous, and satisfying without harsh edges of any roughness; tasty imperial stout. Lasting finish showing nuttiness, chocolate, lingering roastiness; balanced ending.
