COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Pours very dark, substantial hop aromas -- lightly herbal, floral, dark chocolate roastiness, touch of anise, hint of vanilla, very clean flavors with little oxidation, medium low effervescence. Sharp brilliant flavors that I quite enjoy. Might do even better with some mellowing and homogenizing of flavors. A star of a quality night. Thanks, Ken!

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty thick chocolate aroma. Roasted malty bitter chocolate flavor with hints of coffee. Has a long roasted malty coffee and chocolate finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle… This beer rocks!… Pours dark brown (nearly black) with a small, creamy, tan head. The rich, luxurious bouquet is of fudge, chocolate, more fudge and a rumor of peanut butter fudge. I love all varieties of fudge. Medium to full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The well-balanced flavor is very roasty, chocolaty and lightly acidic. Finishes with a final blast of fudge, chocolate syrup and bittersweet roastiness. Thanks to 50belair for sharing this world class rarity!

Bottle. The body is a little thin (think Southern Tier Mokah) but the taste is good. I did prefer the Perfect Idjit to this version. Roasted malt and dark chocolate flavors. A little over carbonated.

Bottle Courtesy of 50Belair. Pours a brownish black with a thin tan head. Nose is huge fudgey chocolate and deep malt lightly roasted. Flavor is deep chocolate and nuts, a little sweet but not overly so. Body is to light though and lacks in mouthfeel and the beer is slightly overcarbonated. Still an impressive offering from this tiny brewery.

Bottle. Tiny little bottle courtesy of s fellow traded in Sweden. Poured into a tulip glass a dark brown color with a dark tan head that collars around the glass. Dark chocolate, molasses, Graham cracker, and slight booze round out the nose. Sweet start with some leather, nice roasty bitterness in the end. Medium /heavy mouhfeel. Very nicely balanced. Ends with a slight lingering roastiness. Very easy drinking.

Bottled. Dark brown colour with small, beige bubbly head. Dark chocolate in aroma along with mint and currant. Tad alcohol and green pepper also present. Bit surupy or molasses-like in flavour with higher alcohols. Creamy mouthfeel with bitter chocolate. Lots of residual sugars. Medium bitter, medium bodied.

Cheers to Gnoff for bringing this gem to Florida.
