COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
En "Imperial Stout" med potens. Svart som natten och stark som synden, framkallar den kraftiga känslor och värmer hjärtan. Kan med fördel användas för att bota kallt sinnelag. Öltypen har "testats kliniskt" i Ryssland sedan Katarina den storas tid.

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2012 Rerate, bottle at Ölstugan Tullen. Black beer with a nice brown/beige head. Aroma from dark chocolate, cocoa powder, licorice, tar, figs and raisins, hop notes, dades, vinous, quite roasted, some soot. Vinous flavor, licorice, tar, soot, peat, dark chocolate, cocoa, some figs, grassy. Bitter finish with tar, chocolate, figs and soot. Old rating: (8/4/7/4/16) SBWF 2010. Black beer, brown head. Malty aroma, chocolate, tar, licorice, vinous notes. Malty vinous flavor, licorice and chocolate, hoppy and with alcohol well hidden.

Bottled. Black colour, smal head. Aroma is liquorice, some alcohol, mild wooden notes as well as some slight vanilla, tobacco and slight roasted notes. Flavour is quite much the same, with the liquorice being the strongest element. Lovely Imperial Stout!

Bottle (Stockholm Beer Festival 2010) - Black in colour. Inviting aroma with notes of roasted malt, plain chocolate and coffee. The taste is rich, yet nicely balanced, with notes of coffee and plain chocolate particularly evident. Very smooth and easy to drink.

Pours dark dark brown with ? head. Aroma of smoke, tar, alcohol, coffe and chocolate. Flavor is acidy smokey, tart with tones of alcohol. Very tart on palate. Finishes acidy sour and tart.

Botted at Stockholm Beer Festival 2010. Opaque black color. The aromas of whisky, coffee, apple, leather and toasted grains. Sweet and roasty flavor with charcoal, caramel, toffee, whisky and apple. Rich taste, apple note is slightly disturbing.

Sample@SBWF2010. Black with a creamy begie head. Here comes of course a scent of tar, dark chocolate, coffee and liquorice. I find the mouthfeel quite oily and flavor is aggressiv in the positive way. Brings soya, coffee and dark chocolate.
