330 ml bottle. Thin latte-colored head on a nearly black body. Taste associates with burnt popcorn och saltiness. Taste is complex, well balanced with a nice roasted finish without the harsch burnt notes.

(25cl bottle) Courtesy of Blomster in a trade. Pours a thin, quick dissipating brown frothy head atop a black body. Nose of soya sauce and molasses, somewhat burnt. Nice roasty nuts and burnt pot-bottom flavour base, thick and mildly carbonated on the palate. Very robust - actually hard to believ this is only 9.5% abv, I would have expected closer to 10.5-11%. Very drinkable but when drinking alone its nice to have an easily consumable 250ml bottle. Thanks Christer!

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours mahogany, a brown head at first which disappears into lacings. Luxorious chocolate and espresso coffe hits my nose as well as some sweet sugary and roasted notes. Some fruit as well but I can’t put my finger on it. A small alcohol sensation at the end of the aroma. Taste is as above, but with more focus on the roasted notes at the end. Smooth, complex and dangerously drinkable. After taste is more dry and bitter and with some warming alcohol. This was a surprise to me, perhaps the best Swedish Imperial Stout I’ve had.

33cl bottle from Angst as a bonus :) Black with a nice a mocha head that gradually fades to a thin layer. Some roasted and sweet malts, bakers chocolate, some expresso, some smoke. Full body, mild carbonation, bit of alcohol, slightly charred malt, sweet at first then a nice roasty bitterness that becomes quite dry. Really like this one.

Bottle. Mahogany nearing on black hue, thin tan head. Chocolate nibs, alight coffe and prunes in the aroma. Dark chocolate, ice coffee, prune sweetness, malted milk and slight caramel. Medium to thick body with low carbonation.

Pours black with low disapoearing off white head Nice fresh aromas of coffee beans, dark fruits (blueberries?), chocolate malts, biscuits, cocoa Nice! Almost coffee powdery, nice dark fruityness, great bitterness from the chocolate malts. However a wee bit too watery. Overall one of the best swedish beers ive had!

Smells wonderful and good. Tastes good but it feels like something is missing with this beer. Clearly one of the best beers I drank. The aftertaste is good and remains very long. Buy this beer now!

Roasted malts, coffee beans, dark chocolate, raisins in the aroma. Roasted flavours, not that sweet at all. Small bitterness and some alcohol in the aftertaste. Medium/low carbonation. Since the body is kinda thin the beer is easy to drink.

Bottle. I don’t see ounces listed. 16.9? Best before July 2013. Pours impenetrable black with brown edges. Has a small beige head that falls into a collar after a minute or two. Aroma is chocolatey, roasted malts, espresso, raisins, licorice. Taste is bittersweet with licorice being the dominant flavor along with all the other aroma descriptors a little less prominent. Mouthfeel is oily and the carbonation is a little lower than I’d like. Serviceable, but nothing special. Addendum: the guy who rated this below me described exactly what I was thinking about the body but couldn’t quite put into words myself: it’s lifeless.
