Rich, smoky aroma has notes of coffee, licorice and molasses with a hint of dark chocolate. It pours a deep, opaque sable just a couple red tomcat whiskers above black and with a fairly thick tan head that leaves some respectable lacing. Mouth-filling smoky flavor has chocolate, coffee, licorice and molasses tones plus hints of caramel, horehound and miso. Firm-bodied texture has a decent amount of fizz and leaves a nice smoky finish that has hints of licorice, molasses and burnt malt. How ’bout them Swedes!

330 ml bottle. Thin latte-colored head on a nearly black body. Taste associates with burnt popcorn och saltiness. Taste is complex, well balanced with a nice roasted finish without the harsch burnt notes.

Smells wonderful and good. Tastes good but it feels like something is missing with this beer. Clearly one of the best beers I drank. The aftertaste is good and remains very long. Buy this beer now!

Pours black with a khaki head, although it looks a little thin coming out of the bottle and settling into the glass. Very nice chocolate brownie aroma, roasted marshmallows, vanilla. Wow. The aromas really "pop". Taste is similar, vanilla frosted brownie but oh so dry... So damn good. I could drink this all night. The finish is bitter chocolate with just a touch of hops. No real alcohol detected. So good. So, so good.

Riktigt fin redan nu och jag kan tänka mig att om man låter denna stout några år kommer den bli magnifik. Ordentligt svart. Lite kolsyra. Fruktig och söt i doften. Fyllig smak av frukt och choklad. Mastig, len och rund i gommen.

Bottled. Pitch black coloured. Dense brown head. aroma of roast, coffee, chocolate, vague liqourice, some sweetness and burnt caramel. Flavour of chocolate, liqourice, sweetness, cocoa, roast, spice and light alcohol. Full bodied. Dense roasty bitterness in the end. Delicious.

Bottled. Black colour, smal head. Aroma is liquorice, some alcohol, mild wooden notes as well as some slight vanilla, tobacco and slight roasted notes. Flavour is quite much the same, with the liquorice being the strongest element. Lovely Imperial Stout!

Bottle. Pitch black body with a creamy tan head. The aroma is coffee, hard roasted malt, light chocolate, tobacco and light smoke. The flavour is coffee, smoke, dark fruit, chocolate, hard roasted malt and tobacco. Creamy texture. Long roasted finish. Brilliant.

Sample @ SBWF ’10. Pours very black with a small beige head. Very intense aroma with raisins, rum, alcohol. Rich and sweet taste with more of the above, but with some roasted malts and coffee at the end. There’s also an acidic touch. The mouthfeel is nice and oily. A big and bold beer.

Aroma is big, soya, salt, roasted malts, sugar. Taste is thick oily, soya, oat and barley malts, roasted, bitter.
