0.5l bottle @ Schoukjelleren, Oslo. This is a near black beer with a thin sidesticking khaki head. The aroma has licorice, dark yeast, hints of banana and old shoes. Strange stuff. It has a soft carbonation level and a oily mouthfeel. Flavors are both smoky and licorice-rich. Tones of dark smoky light roasted sweet malts and perhaps some thin coffee notes as well. Strange stuff, and I’m not really sure if I really liked this, but it was drinkable.

50cl bottle. Black colour with a small head. Aroma is just wonderful. Sweet. Coffee and sugar. Some hops perhaps. Flavour was unfortunately a bit thin. Coffee and water. And that’s it really. Short aftertaste.
