COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

27.11.2010. 0,5l Bottle. Dark brown, almost blackflavour. No head. Aroma is malty with nivc notes of bitterness. Its hoppy and smooth, but there is also something that is missing. Nice good flavours but its a little flat and thin on hops. Bitter aftertaste with coffe and dry bitter chocolate.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Almost black with a good tan head. Sweet chocolate and espresso aroma. In the mouth solid chocolate, noticeable milky oatiness and some roast. Delicious- Dugge never disappoints.

Black colour with a mocca coloured head Aroma; "Fresh" malt, almost a smell of cara aroma. Other than that, some caramell and hay on the nose aswell. Flavour; Not the biggest palate, not to impressive. There is a good oat and malt profile, but there is not very much to it. Good carbonation, short lenght and a medium - body. Summary; A good nose, but a weak mouthfeel

Bottle. Black with brown foam. Chocolate, coffee, roasty, floral, vanilla, Taste is feels damped by perhaps the use of oat and gives a higher sweetness then what U would expect. Medium body, creamy, soft carbonation and abrupt finish. Pretty boring.

Bottled:
Pours a dark -as good as black- brown colour with a small, weak head. Chocolate and toffee aroma. Flavour is charcoal, ash, coffee and some sour notes. Looks dull but tastes pretty good.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2010 Pours dark brown with great brown head leaving some lacing. Roasted malts, soury and smoked aroma. Acidy sour malty flavor. Acidy sour on palate. Finishes a bit flat with a shortlived hoppy aftertaste. Easily drinkable.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours brown with a very shortlasting light head. Aroma of red berries and a hint of coffe. Rather porter like taste, light of rosted malt, hint of chocolate. This isn’t as smooth as I expect an oatmeal stout to be.

Mad_Ferret (483) - SWEDEN - OCT 16, 2010
UPDATED: JUL 21, 2011 Dark redish brown, almost black. Porous greyish light brown head that barely leaves any lacing and falls pretty quickly. Roasted sourish notes in the nose with some weedy hops, cold weak coffee, a hint of cheap chocolate, seawater, dark fruit and oatmeal porrige. Not a very strong aroma I must say. Taste is pretty weak and watery. Some kind of sour acidic taste that reminds me of dirty water. In the aftertaste comes a bit more full note of coffee and chocolate. Maybe theres something left to understand but I dont like this at all. Feels more like a schwartzbier to me.
