Bottle. Dark brown with a small head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Flavour of coffee and roasted malt.

Pours black with an off-white head. Aroma is..well...at first I get roasted malt, black current, plum and wet wood...then I smell again, and I get heavy aroma of corn. Sweet and...weird. Me no like. Taste is better. it has a heavy malty character with wood, oatmeal and some light smokiness. It’s on the verge on being watery. Quite dry and harsh finish but nothing extreme. Overall, not bad for a 5% stout, but too modest for my taste.

Coffee, toasted malt, liqorice, grainy, fruity aroma. A bit tart, not fully balanced taste. Harsh in palate. A nice stout with some unbalance in taste and too harsh.

Aroma of chocolate, malt, soil and metal. Appearance is brown-black with medium brown head. Taste is weak of chocolate and soil. Overall a light taste beer that probably works well with food.

50 cl from gnoff. Jet black with light tan head and lacing. Aroma of licorise, smoke, and a hint of blackberries. Very smooth, fairly light body, with earthy taste of dark chocolate and some fungal notes. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Nice complex beer.

Bottle. Black with brown foam. Chocolate, coffee, roasty, floral, vanilla, Taste is feels damped by perhaps the use of oat and gives a higher sweetness then what U would expect. Medium body, creamy, soft carbonation and abrupt finish. Pretty boring.

(Bottle at Beermakers dinner) Aroma of coffe and chokolate. Very faint flavor of chokolate but it dissaperas to fast. To much carbon acid.

Dugges Kalas är som en pingvin. Bara för att det är en fågel behöver det inte betyda att den kan flyga. Det är snudd på att Kalas är mer ale än stout...och pingviner är ju trots allt fiskar...i frack.

Bottle. Lightly carbonated, slightly metallic. Burnt aftertaste but not complex. Thinner than expected.

50 cl bottle from systembolaget. Pours murky dark brown with a short-lived small white-brown head. Smell is heavy of hop, smoke with a faint vinegar tone. The taste slightly hoppy at the beginning and ends with bitter aftertaste with smoke tones. Palette is somewhat watery with light carbonation. An okay stout with pleasant smoke tones, but cloud have used a bit more alcohol.
