3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JanLaursen (1118) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 20, 2011
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2011 Bottled: Transparent black beer with a foamy, but quickly diminishing beige head. Roasted aroma with notes of coffee, caramel, licorice, dark fruits. Taste is medium sweet, fruity, light bitter - rather light mouthfeel, watery texture. Soft carbonation. Short dry light bitter finish. Almost like a fusion between a stout and a Schwartz beer - very much a session beer.
2011-6-19: The first time I had this, it was infected. With a bretty aroma of fermented plums.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 KingCecil (1077) - DENMARK - JUN 9, 2011
Fra flaske, dufter dejligt af karamel og brun farin... farven er grumset lysebrun med svagt lysebrunt skum...... smager af karamel og brun farin ( sød ) men svag eftersmag.... ellers alt i alt en ok øl !
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 cbfobes (1045) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 11, 2011
Poured from bottle, pours a murky brown with a thin tan fizzy head that diminishes quickly, aroma is sweet with nice touches of chocolate, the mouthfeel is fairly light and has decent flavors of chocolate and caramel, not bad.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 _angst_ (999) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 21, 2012
500 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget and consumed on January 21. Pours yellowish dark brown with a mocha head that quickly dissipates while leaving some lacing on the glass. Smell is dominated by roasted malts combined with a slight acidity with some coffee and bitter chocolate. Taste is slightly sweet and quite malty with roasted malts, coffee and some liquorice. Mouthfeel is slightly watery. Finish is short lived, slightly dry and slightly bitter. Not very exciting but still quite drinkable.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 LoFi (986) - SWEDEN - OCT 9, 2010
UPDATED: JAN 15, 2011 Bottle. Dark brown, a bit hazy, with a porous beige head. Aroma: coffee, roasted malts, an oatiness, and I get something lactic. Taste: Coffee, roasted, chocolate, a smoothness and light spiciness from the oats, some hops, citrus, and an acidity I’m not too fond of. Hints of chocolate and licorice in the background. Body is a bit thin, but it’s very smooth.
Update: In the next bottle, there was still an acidity, but this time it was well balanced - much better.

Bottle shared at tasting. Dark brown with little white head. Aroma is chocolate. Flavour chocolate and malt but way to thin and muted. Very disappointing for a Dugges beer.
