50cL bottle, courtesy of blomster (hand-delivered). Thanks, Christer! Pours a deep, modestly clear orange color; significant, fluffy off-white head with great retention and lacing; a great-looking pour. Rather light aroma (surprisingly, for how great this actually tastes): a light, crisp showing of mineral-y and spicy hops; I get a touch of soap, but I’m not sure if that’s the beer or the glass... Medium to medium-light body; lively (medium-high) carbonation, but not to the point of a rough carbonic bite; slightly creamy texture overall. This is simply a pure pleasure to drink. Medium-high levels of spicy and citrusy hop flavor and bitterness, coupled to a very modest, toasty and cereal-like malt core; a very clean fermentation; where this beer succeeds so well is in a powerful, clear expression of noble-y and American hops in a perfectly drinkable mouthfeel; if only this were available (and affordable) in the States... Just an awesome lager. Medium finish of spicy and citrus bitterness, nicely dry and crisp at the far end of things.

Pours a golden color with a off white head. The head is frothy or rocky and slowly fades to lace. The lace is there until the end. Very nice. Aroma is a grassy citrus hop with a bit of malt. Hop and citrus for flavor with a bit of a dry finish. It tastes somewhat like a hefe with more hops and body. If it was a blind taste test I would have never guessed it was a lager. In a nutshell, if you like ale, you will like this one. If you prefer a lager instead of a ale, you may not like this one. I like this one a lot and will be having more.

(Bottle) Pours hazy dark orange to amber with medium, off-white head. The aroma is floral and perfumy alongside citric notes of grapefruit, orange and blood orange. Toasted malt backbone - a mix of crisp bread and cookies. Some dry apricot, black currant, earth, wood and spices/herbs in the background. The nose is quite clean for being a micro lager with a clear Cascade profile. The flavour is light sweet to dry, light to medium bitter and light acidic. Citric and floral up front. Undertones of herbs, resin, dry toast and light crisp bread. The mouthfeel is clean and soft (almost creamy) with a light to medium carbonation. Light malt, citrus and mild resin on the finish. Light to medium bodied. I didn’t fancy the first release/batch of this beer (I remember some diacetyl), but now it reminds me of Mikkellers American Dream, only less tropical. Really balanced, one of the better Dugge beers. I like.

Bottle. Fine hoppy nose. Golden, offwhite lace. Chewy grain, nice fruitiness - peach apple. Good wellbalanced american citric hop profile. Very pleasant.

Slightly hazy standard lager color. Harsh bitterness, lots of grapefruit and fresh hay. Solid taste, dry and earthy. No hints of fruit but some yeast in the smell, not in the flavor. A very good lager, but I would like a little more sugar in it.

Rich golden color with a nice white head and a low carbonation. Fresh aroma loaded with hops. Nice mellow flavor both malty and hoppy. Round bitterness with hints of citrus. Everything in a perfect balance here. Nice and smooth mouthfeel from a top quality lager.
