COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

22/VIII/14 - 33cl bottle from a trade @ home - BB: 17/IV/15 (2014-932) Thanks to hackobock for the trade!

Clear dark purple brown beer, creamy irregular beige head, little stable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. aroma: caramel, mocha, coffee even, malty touch, hay, overall sweet impression. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet start, caramel, overripe fruits, some banana, soft bitterness, pretty roasted, mocha, a bit off. Aftertaste: little sour, caramel, burnt raisin bread, sugared coffee, smoky touch, dark chocolate, bitter ending. Pretty rich and complex in it’s style!!

Lovely bready and malty aroma. The appearance is a well-carbonated opaque dark brown liquid with an off-white head. A very malty taste, roasted, with a hint of bread and roasted grain.

Bottle, 33 cl. Overall nice, lots of aroma and taste for a lager, although dark. Medium carbonation, good. Will definitely try another one - when I not have a cold and my nose will work better. :)

33cl bottle, bbe 2015-01-13. Cola brown, thin off-white head. Dark fruity aroma at first, later roasted malt, chocolate. Milk chocolate, roasted nuts and malt in flavor, smooth, round mouthfeel. Full bodied, really tasty dunkel, quite hoppy actually. Another good brew from Dugges.

brnandersen (1905) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 22, 2014
33 cl. bottle from SB. Dark brown colour with a thin, lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with roasted malts, coffee, milk chocolate, caramel malts, nuts and dark fruits. Taste is light sweet. Rather rich and filling - creamy - for a 5.8 % beer. Soft carbonation. Finishes dry and roasted with coffee, milk chocolate and a herbal bitterness. Simply an excellent Dunkel - bordering a Stout in some flavour components.

Craft Covent Garden. Keg. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is softish and smooth with light fine carbonation. Super smooth, airy dark malts, very mellow. Light tang. Mild lacto cream sweetness. Just a trace of dark chocolate and tangy dried fruits. Smooth dry minerally finish. Interesting and drinkable but needs something else to elevate it.
