On bottle from Systembolaget Strømstad. Black color, good off white foam. Roasted aromas, malt, some dried fruits: medium aroma intensity. Medium body & complexity. Good bitterness & balance. Enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Bottle Shop London. Black beer or very dark brown at least. As a dunkel its nutty some dark malts some dark fruits. Dates maybe. Rather good. Some hop bite on the finish too. It’s good. Somewhere between a hazelnut and a walnut flavour. Really easy drinking. Good dunkel.

Perfect dark lager, chocolate and nutty flavours, small sweetness and low bitterness. I really liked this one.

The scent reveals dark and roasted malts with mild hints from the hops. Taste is pretty much the same but with added hints of small traces of chocolate and a smooth fruityness from the hops. This one is refreshing, but allwos you to stay on the dark side where you belong.

Sample at S&G tasting. Had a bit of a stuffy nose during this tasting, so aroma will not be that accurate probably... APPEARANCE: dark brown beer, nice stable beige head. NOSE: chocolate, coffee. TASTE: chocolate, coffee, malts.

Bottle. It pours a dark brown body, clear, and topped by a small, beige head. The aroma has caramel tending towards coffee, with a faint hint of dried fruits. Some chocolate and roasted malts in the flavor, along with the caramel and dried fruits known from the aroma. A decent bitterness in the finish. Sort of boring this one, but it’s a pleasant one anyway. Easy drinkable too. 140613
