Tap at the brewery 29/3-08. Black with a hint of red, low brown/beige head. Hoppy aroma. Hoppy taste with coffee, some citrus fruit. Thick texture.

Draught. Dark brown-black colour with a beige head. Aroma is quite hoppy - some resin - with malty notes of roasted coffee beans, dark sugar and molasses. Flavour has a nice sweetness and is quite hoppy with notes of resin and pine needles together with roasted malty notes of coffee and liquorice. Good one!

Draught at the Rover in Gothenburg. Black with light brown slightly soapy head. Sweet liquorice medium body with medium to long liquorice aftertaste.

Draught at Bishops Arms, Malmö. Black coloured with a medium sized creamy beige head. Roasted aroma of liquorice and hops. Roasted flavour of coffee, liquorice, dried fruits and hops. Dry roasted and hoppy finish. Nice.

Draught at The Rover, Göteborg. Black color, brown head. Roasted malt aroma, some coffee, some tar. Licorice flavor, tar notes, malt, viol and some bitterness.

Sampled draught at the brewery. Pours out in an opaque black colour with a small creamy pale brown foam. Black coffee, salty licorice, leafy hops and roasted malts in the aroma. Medium-bodied with notes of black coffee, citric and leafy hop with notes of roasted malts and licorice. Dryish and rather bitter finish of black coffee, lemon-zest and grapefruit.

On tap at 3smårum. Very dark brown, almost black with a nice tan head. Coffee and rosted tones. Malt, coffee and chocolate. Medium to full body with a long, bittersweet aftertaste.

Draught at the brewery. Black with a small, beige head. Sweet and malty, roasted fruity aroma. Rather roasted and hoppy flavour; tar, toffee and peat. Dry bitterness. Rather light body and slightly metallic.
