@ Havregatan. Flaska från Systembolaget (25:-). Rostad/lite brända toner, kaffe och mörk choklad, farinsocker, medelsötma, medelbesk och medelfyllig. Avslutningen är torr, besk och något söt med rostade toner.

Dark brown body with some dark ruby tones, diminishing tan-orange head. Gentle roasted malts with whisky-hints to the nose. Mixy taste with roasted malts, whisky-dusty hops, chocolate malts, faint hints of honey. Average on palate, feels alright balanced. Nice clean bitter hops which’ve been through a shower of dark malts are still present in the finish. Refreshing and strong enough to be a pal to spicy dinners. Bottle from Systembolaget. Fruity smell with a light chocolate note. Light taste but also deep and musty, feels like an autumn beer with a toffee like maltiness to it. Easy to drink. Tasty.

500ml bottle, airborne from Växjö, many thanks to Inger for this Easter gift. Poured an opaque mahogany coloured body, bubbly, tan-coloured head that stayed well and left spotty lacing down the glassware. Moderate brown earthy malts on the nose, slightly roasted. Nice blended taste of chocolate malts and dusty hops. Malt-bitter ending. Medium bodied. Refreshing and smooth. Fine food matching to the lamb pie (Tromsø 19.04.2014).

Mkt god!

Bottle @ home. 2012 edition. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Mild clean aromas of dark chocolate, grinded coffee beans , nuts and dark fruits. Medium bodied with medium refreshing carbonation. Taste is one the drier side with some balancing caramel sweetness. Flavors of roasted malt, coffee, nuts, and dark fruits. Aftertaste has a clear dry note of dark chocolate, some cloves, licorice and nuts. Finishes with a balaced earthy bitterness. Really balanced and pleasant to drink.
