COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

(Bottle). Aroma and taste of roasted malt, chocolate, hops and a hint of licorice. I especially like the abundant flavor of hops that suppresses the roasted / burnt notes in the taste. Once again an okay Schwarzbier from Dugges!

Aroma of dark chocolates with notes of citrus. Chocolates, coffee, and wood dominates the otherwise bready taste. Modest fruitiness in the finish, with notes of tar.

500ml Bottle - Black in colour. Liquorice, roasted malt, fudge and coffee in the aroma. Smooth and roasted taste with coffee, plain chocolate and liquorice dominating proceedings. Really enjoyable and easy to drink.

The pour from a 500ml bottle reveals a bubbly fawn-coloured, lacing-head to a clear rosewood coloured body. Rather rich aromas of liquorice, coffee mingled with citrus. Malt-fruity taste of dark chocolate and citrus. Roasted malt bitter finish. Medium bodied. Smooth in the mouth and with fine drinkability. Tasty brew (kindly shared by djoeye, Tromsø 07.05.2014).

Beige 1-finger head, clear dark brown body with red tones. Lacings; some narrow lines inside glassware. Aroma; caramel coffee malts, other malts, liquorice, toffee n coffee, rubber n vanilla, fruity citric hops, very inviting! Taste; somewhat roasted chocolate-toffee malts, nuts, resin n citrus, liquorice, cough drops, vanilla and tiny note of tar, - a wide taste. Good body, slightly dry, very low carbonation. Finishes choco-coffee style. I thought about a solid dunkel tmawy, but schwarzbier, yes! alright! Lots of tastes here!
