UPDATED: SEP 27, 2008 On-tap at Bishops Arms, Avenyn, Gothenburg. Deep-brown color with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, licorice, citrus and dark chocolate. The taste is roasted with notes of coffee, spices, smoke, black chocolate, rye bread, citrus and a bit sourish. Light bodied and a bit watery. I find the sourness in this porter a bit too much.

Dark brown-red hue with thin beige head.
Robust roasted aroma with notes of hop oil, roasted coffee, chocolate and licorice.
A flcvour of chocolate and roasted malt. Dry with some bitterness.

500 ml bottle. One-finger coarse lightly tanned head. Color is dark brown with a reddish hue. Dry coffee aroma, roast and grain. Taste is dry malty, paired with an acidulous fruitiness. Cocoa notes and a hint of chalky hops. Powdery texture. Slim body. Dry, slight bitter ending.

(Bottle at Beermakers dinner) Both aroma and flavor is with coffe and chokolate but it disappear to fast. Also, there is to much carbon acid.

Smallish beige head. Hazy barely translucent deep red body. Burnt yeasty coffee aroma with grainy bready rye notes. Dry fainty acidic burnt rye and coffee taste with watery bready notes. Thin-bodied. Acidic burnt faintly hoppy aftertaste. Quite nice, but could use more body. (0.5l bottle shared by Ole_R.)

Bottle. Black, no head. Aroma of hops and chocolte. The flavor has a nice sourness.

The aroma was rather sweet.
Quite sour flavour, almoast like a Geuze. Chocolate in tast.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small fast disappearing tan head. Roasted malty chocolate and licorice aroma. FRuity roasted malty chocolate flavor. Dry roasted malty chocolate and licorice finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Dark red-amber colour. Heavy malty roasted aroma. Light hoppy. Moderate bitter flavor. Strong roasted/coffee notes. Moderate bitter average finish. Oily palate. Not my kind of porter.

Draught at "den tatoverede enke". Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate and coffee.
