COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

12/17/10. Bottle shared by fata2683 - thanks, Keith! A surprise here... I really enjoyed this brew! Nice smooth coffee and chocolate aroma with a big coffee flavor that fades into sweet milk chocolate. Quite nice!

Dark clear red brownish leathery colour with a beige head. Aroma has lots of dark fruit, raisins, plum, dark winegums, some alcohol. Taste is medium sweet with a strong malty character that contains dark fruits, coffee, some chocolate, maybe a hint of liquorice. A bit warming alcohol in the end and I also detect something like marzipan in the, quite long, aftertaste. It has quite a wine character. It’s pretty well made I guess, but it’s just not my thing.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Called "Dugges Rudolf Ren Ale" - this is vintage 2010. Pours a cloudy and opaque dark brown with a beige head. Sweet hard roasted malt and vanilla. Solid body, sweet hard roast malt, vanilla and dark fruits. A little malt bitterness with a sweet licorice touch. Pleasant. 301110

Pours clear ruby brown with big tanned head. Aroma is Sweeter than 3,5 and much fruitier. Flavor of dark dried fruits, hops, malts, sweet, christmas spicy with notes of alcohol. Flat palate. Finishes with a nice tart bitter aftertaste, not too much to "kill" the flavors of the Christmas buffet.

konstifik (573) - SWEDEN - NOV 27, 2010
Pours almost black with a light brown head that settles to a thin foam layer leaving almost no lacings. Aroma of cold sweet caffe latte, chocolate and a sort of typical belgian dark fruitiness. It has a slight sweetness up front but dries out a bit towards the end. Smooth big body with a slight alcohol edge.
