3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours clear ruby brown with big tanned head. Aroma is Sweeter than 3,5 and much fruitier. Flavor of dark dried fruits, hops, malts, sweet, christmas spicy with notes of alcohol. Flat palate. Finishes with a nice tart bitter aftertaste, not too much to "kill" the flavors of the Christmas buffet.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours almost black with a light brown head that settles to a thin foam layer leaving almost no lacings. Aroma of cold sweet caffe latte, chocolate and a sort of typical belgian dark fruitiness. It has a slight sweetness up front but dries out a bit towards the end. Smooth big body with a slight alcohol edge.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dark dark brown colour, almost black, with a rocky head. Aroma like a sweet stout. Grainy malty, with a chocolate backbone, with accompanying mint chocolate, nougat, nuts and a light, elegant touch of un-named spices. Really nice! Mouthfeel is really rounded, bit sweet as it ought to be, with rye bread lingering, followed up by nutty chocolate and an overall feel of chocolate malts, finishing with nougat again. The mouthfeel is smooth and perfect and fairly sweet but far, far from sticky. After is all about nougat and chocolate and lingers nicely with a touch of bitter chocolate. This is the ultimate beer for the Yulebord.
