It has an hazy golden color; the head reduces to a thin creamy layer. In short, it’s an average Ale: the body, the light malt flavor, the hop. But, what surprises me the most, is that the aroma has an evident roasted malt presence, and the flavor is strongly affected by the black malt, or coffee; the final just becomes worse, with a too strong black malt presence, a bit sour; if I were blind, I would swear I’m drinking a very harsh Stout, but this is not black ??? I’m lost…
Anyway, due to these characteristics (the roasted malt), I don’t like it.

Jun 3, 2008 Draught @ Svea, Malmö. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a longlasting off-white head. Malty hoppy grapefruit aroma.Long bitter hoppy flavor with some malty hints and also hints of grapefruit. Slightly dry and bitter hoppy aftertaste.

Mar 31, 2008 Sampled draught at 3 Små Rum, Göteborg. Pours out in a hazy dark golden with a small fluffy white head. Toasted malts, grass, mild spices and apples in the aroma. Medium to light-bodied with notes of burnt malts, green apples and grapefruit. Dusty mouthfeel. Long aftertaste with notes of burnt malts, green apples and acidic oranges. Almost impossible to categorize and the acidic notes was a bit too much for me.

Mar 26, 2008 Draft at Three Small Rooms. Pours orange and slightly hazy with some white head. I was not prepared for the aroma that came from this: toasted malts. Totally out of left field. The taste followed suit, burnt malts all the way. This was quite interesting, and I found myself at a loss for words. Average palate with a once again toasty finish. Certainly fun to try once, but I don’t think I’d go for it again.

Cloudy orange coloured with a creamy off white head.
Fruity aroma of caramel, hops and pine needles.
Fruity flavour of Caramel, hops, grape fruits and pine needles.
Dry hoppy finish.
