UPDATED: JUN 23, 2008 On-tap at the brewery. Golden orange color with a white head. Aroma: Toasted/roasted malt, fruit, coffee and caramel. Flavor: Roasted malt, fruit, caramel, bread, coffee.

On tap @ the brewery. Hazy orange with a thick white head. Smokey, with some tar and coffee tones. Roasted with taste of coffee and nuts. Medium body with a long, biiter and fruity finish.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2008 Draught at the brewery. Hazy golden with a fluff, white head. Malty, salty, nutty aroma and flavour with peat-notes. Slightly roasted with fine fruitiness and bitterness.

Slight shady orange color, dense tan head. Roasted malty scent with fruity notes. Roasted and coffee taste. also fruity and sweet. Smooth mouthfeel, high bitterness. Coffee aftertaste. Really nice!

On February 29, 2008.
Slight shady deep golden color, small white head. Roasted with coffee scent, also acidic. Burnt pop-corn taste, very very hard to get past the pop-corn. Medium mouthfeel and bitterness.
I reall find it hard to believe its the same brew!

Furseth (1928) - Kungälv, SWEDEN - JAN 28, 2008
Draught at the brewery. Hazy yellow colour, with a nice creamy head. Aroma of tar, smokey,coffee nose. Flavor had lots of burned nots in it, and maltynes. Thin to medium body(even it has 4,7%alc) Nice medium finish.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2008 Draught at the brewery. Hazy deep golden with an orange hue, creamy white head. Burnt and roasted notes dominates, with a clear touch of coffe, and some faint caramelly notes in the background. Light to medium body with soft mouthfeel, dry and bitter.

Draught at Svea, Malmö. Cloudy orange coloured with a creamy off white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, hops and pine needles. Fruity flavour of Caramel, hops, grape fruits and pine needles. Dry hoppy finish.

Draught @ Svea, Malmö. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a longlasting off-white head. Malty hoppy grapefruit aroma.Long bitter hoppy flavor with some malty hints and also hints of grapefruit. Slightly dry and bitter hoppy aftertaste.
