Sep 6, 2008 This beer is very sweet and tastes of dark fruit, plums, raisins. It is very warming due to the alcohol. A very good beer, but my expectations were higher than this beer delivered.

Sep 3, 2008 Deep amber with medium beige short lasting head. Hoppy aroma with caramel, malty and herbal notes. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, caramel and hops. Warming alcohol in the end.

Sep 2, 2008 Bottle, 9.8%. OK hoppy aroma, grassy with some sweet spices. Powerful flavour, sweet maltiness, some malt syrup. Roasted, vinous aftertaste. Quite strong alcohol note, very peppery, but at the same time balanced by the maltiness. Also a little aroma hops in the aftertaste.

Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, resin, spicy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. (190608)
