Full-bodied dark beer with creamy brown head. Well-balanced and tasty, though average stout. Aroma of roasted malts and some dark chocolate. The malts and chocolate come back in the taste along with some coffee.

Very good stout from a beautiful 75cl bottle. Chocolate, berries, creamy palate with a fresh aftertaste.

Very good brown-beige head over nearly black beer. Faint chocolate, lightly roasted, cypress, dark green leaves (and ditto malts). Sweet, slightly roasted, active carbon, sweetness building up in the finish, with upcoming woodiness and nutty flavours. Very slick, medium to well-bodied, and generally quite well-balanced. Rather excellent, very well-balanced stout, one to cherish again.

Tap. Black color, brown head, quickly receding. Aroma: roast, mocha, chocolate, sweet, even a bit of fruit. Flavor is roasted sweet. Medium bodied. Finishes roasted and bitter. Pretty good.

ABT beer of the month February 2011. Pretty decent smell and a pretty soft taste. Not bad at all. Low body and carbo. Worth a try.

light sweet aroma,black, light brown foam,light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, oily feel, soft carbonation, nice finish.

Bottle. Dark brown with medium tan head. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, bitter, fruit, little sweet, hops and a little liquorice.

ABT beer of the month February ’11. Stout isn’t my favorite style, but sometimes i enjoy them. Didn’t enjoy this one much. Bit of a metallic, rusty smell and taste. Could use a bit more roasty malts.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark red-amber colour. MOderate malty and hopy aroma. Some fruity notes. No roast. Moderate bitter flavir. Average moderate bitter finish. Some roasted notes. Creamy plate.

Dark almost black coloured and clear. Has an off-white head, medium duration. Sweet, roasted aroma, some notes of white-wine. Nice flavor, sweet laqurice. Soft carbonation.
