33cl bottle at Brasserie ’t Vosken, Ghent. Dark gloomy beer with thin beige head, and a vividly brew hinting at much carbonation. Sugary sweet, dextrose aromas with blue grapes, raisins and even some black berries. The taste resembles Kasteelbier or Gulden Draak for its sweetness, but the body is medium strong - making this the better drinker. The palate is better balanced too, with notes of caramel, chocolate, dark fruits and raisins. The brew is a bit oily - a tiny bit, though - yet it is not as sugary as I expected, and subtly bitter and malt too.
