Pours deep amber brown with a medium, frothy beige head. Aroma is sweet and malty caramel with some yeast and a metallic touch. Fine, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, good yeastiness and lots of milky chocolate. not that vinious, but lightly warming. Okay beer. Dedollewaitor (1818), Odense, Denmark Jun 14, 2008 Bottle from BarleyWine, Copenhagen. Pours dark amber with a creamy beige foam. Aroma is yeast, roasted malts, caramel & dark fruits. Smooth & soft mouthfeel. Alcohol is warming. A bit sticky & a Sligthly metallic edge. OK mabel (1246), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 10, 2008 [1183-20080303] 330mL. Muted woody fruit aroma has hints of leafy greens when it warms. Hazy, dark dark brown body with a long-lasting creamy light tan head. Mild grain yeast flavour has more mellow malt. Medium-full body. Interesting, hides the alcohol percentage well.
