Ober (276), Best, Netherlands Jul 19, 2008 A little hazy, dark red colored beer, with a beautiful foamy beige head. It stays for a long time. It also leaves laces on the glass. A very nice sweet aroma of roasted malt, with brown sugar. Fruits are there as well. The taste is light spicy, with fruits like cherries, with a light alcohol taste. A little bitter and yeast after taste. A very good beer.
Borresteijn (427), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 18, 2008 On tap. Amberbrown beer, big creamy head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate. Flavour is thin, tastes like a watered down Westmalle Dubbel with some chocolate added. Not bad, not outstanding.
