Grifo. Vaso de ˝ pt. Saboreada en mar´13. Color pajizo pálido y apariencia velada. Una fina capa blanca permanece en la superficie. Un intenso sabor a plátano barre, prácticamente, cualquier sensación aromática, apenas un aroma floral y de grano subyacente. Sabor granulado y de plátano dulce/amargo. Cuerpo ligero. Carbonatación media/alta. Textura aguada. Amargor grosero en el intermedio permanece en la plano y prolongado final. Aburrida.

Intense banana aroma sweeps almost any other aromatic sensation, just a subtle grainy & floral aromas rest. Grainy, sweet/bitter banana flavor. Light body. Moderate to high carbonation. Watery texture. Harsh bitterness in the middle lingers into a long & flat finish. Boring.

On tap at Barcelona Beer Festival 2013. Small Pint (20cl). This version was 4.5% according to the info. Clear yellow colour with medium white head. Intense banana aroma, similar to a typical banana yogurt. The mentioned characteristic it’s quite evident when tasting, of course, but does not hide the wheat and the hops (subtle dry finish). Medium body, good carbonation. Actually I think it’s a nice blend of banana and Weissbier, żDid they change something? mmm maybe, but well, doesn’t matter...not bad and easy to drink.

On tap @Pivovarský Dum. Strong banana and sweet aromas. Pours almost clear, straw colour, with vanishing white head. Light body, average carbonation. Strong banana taste, but watered down.

Draught at Pivovarsky Dum. Looks like a hefeweizen and smells like one, albeit with a pumped up banana aroma that seems really artificial, like synthetic banana candies. Oh, and it’s watery and too bitter. Avoid.

Tap at the brewery. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma strong artificial overpowering banana. Taste medium bitter, light acidic, disgusting banana. This basically feels like eating cheap banana sweets, only with a touch of banana. Finish makes me want to drop drinking beer as hobby. Throwing dark light over all the serious fruit beers.

Keg at Dum. Hazy Straw coloured with a white head. The sweet artificial banan dominates. Good for me because I actually tend to prefer the taste of artificial bananas to real ones. Like those 5p bananas or the taste of a banana milkshake. The flavour isn’t great though. Thin bodied and a touch over sweet.

draught at Pivovarsky Dum. Pale cloudy yellow, mid-sized white head. Aroma of banana. Sweet start, lots of banana, overpowering every other flavour. In addistion, the banana flavour seems very artificial in its intenseness. Didn’t like this one at all.
